Kate Scheurwater
Kate Scheurwater is the Director of Development. She is responsible for creating, adapting, and implementing a comprehensive fund development program, encompassing various fundraising activities. She considers it a privilege to spend her days working with community members who are inspired to give to the library.
Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours, Psychology and a Master of Administration in Leadership from the University of Regina. She began her fundraising career at the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada – Saskatchewan Division followed by seven years in fundraising at the University of Regina. She moved into her current role at the library in October of 2021.
She has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 2017 and maintains membership with the Association of Fundraising Professionals South Saskatchewan Chapter. Kate is also a member of 100+ Women Who Care Regina.
Kate is a voracious reader, beginner runner, and is always attempting new recipes. She and her family enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors and visiting the library.
