Dunlop Art Gallery's Art Rental service offers Regina Public Library customers the opportunity to rent original works of art by Canadian artists for placement in home or office. Dunlop Art Gallery offers this service as part of its commitment to make art accessible and thereby stimulate interest in the visual arts.
The Art Rental Service contains over 200 works of art including paintings, drawings and prints produced by artists from across Canada. Many Saskatchewan and western Canadian artists are featured. Art rental is an affordable way to enjoy original artworks in your home or office without the expense of purchasing, framing or maintaining them.
Unlike many Art Rental Services offered by galleries or museums throughout Canada, Dunlop Art Gallery does not charge a membership fee for use of this service. The only cost is the rental fee.
Art Rental is available to anybody 18 years of age and over who has a Regina Public Library card in good standing.
Customers are invited to visit Dunlop Art Gallery's to select artworks of their choice. Art Rental service is available during library hours.
All works are framed, matted, and packaged in portfolios with easy to carry handles, making transportation between the gallery and home as convenient as possible. Artworks must be transported in their protective containers.
Individuals and institutional borrowers can rent a maximum of 5 works for a 42-day loan period. Art Rentals may be renewed twice, unless a hold has been placed.
Customers must present their Regina Public Library card for each Art Rental transaction.
