Room Bookings

Hold your next meeting, study session, or event at the library! We have rooms available at most RPL locations for customers, community groups, and charitable/non-profit organizations. Bookings for commercial use or for-profit organizations will require payment of a rental fee.

Rooms can be booked online and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can view the type of rooms available at each location, their size, and features at the time of booking.

We have three types of rooms available for library card holders:

Meeting rooms

  • High-capacity rooms intended for medium to large group bookings.
  • Can be booked 2 to 60 days in advance in 15-minute increments for a maximum of three hours.
  • Cardholder can have no more than three bookings and/or three hours booked per month.

Seminar rooms

  • Low-capacity rooms intended for individual or small group bookings (up to four people) and cannot be booked for community group or for commercial use.
  • Can be booked 0 to 60 days in advance in 15-minute increments for a maximum of two hours.
  • Cardholder can have no more than two bookings and/or four hours booked per week.

Special Use

Note: the library cardholder is responsible for any damage to the space or loss of equipment (if applicable).

Room Reservations

Book a room online or by calling 306-777-6000. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can view the type of rooms available at each location, their size, and features at the time of booking.

Bookings for commercial use or for-profit organizations will require payment of a rental fee. Commercial Use applies to:

  • any for-profit organization;
  • a partisan political purpose;
  • any meeting or event that charges an admission fee;
  • the sale of merchandise; or
  • fundraising efforts.

Note: Seminar rooms cannot be booked for commercial use.

Non-Regina Residents fall under Commercial use and will be charged the room rental fee. This includes any non-Regina SILS cardholder and out-of-province residents, regardless of community group or commercial status.

We generally require bookings to be made at least 30 days in advance of your event.

Special Use 102

$225 for up to four hours with no RPL projectionist (for profit rate)

$275 for up to 4 hours with RPL projectionist (for profit rate)

$125 for bookings with no RPL projectionist (community group and non-profit rate)

$175 for bookings with RPL projectionist (community group and non-profit rate)

Connaught Branch

This location is not accessible for people with mobility issues.

Payment must be made at time of booking by Visa or MasterCard if booking online. You can also pay in-branch using cash, Visa, MasterCard or Interac.

You can cancel room bookings up to 3 days before the booking date. RPL reserves the right to apply full charges to cancellations after this time.

Submit a form for RPL Film Theatre rental inquiries. We generally require bookings to be made at least 30 days in advance of your event.

Meeting Rooms

  • High-capacity rooms intended for medium to large group bookings.
  • Cannot be booked for single person use.
  • Technical equipment is available free of charge. A list of available equipment can be found in the room description at the time of booking.
    • Note: staff can provide basic technological support, but we cannot guarantee that AV equipment will be compatible with all systems.
  • You, or a member of your group, must have a valid Regina Public Library card
  • Cardholder can have no more than three bookings and/or three hours booked per month.
  • Can be booked 2 to 60 days in advance.
