Why eBooks Are Better than Paper Books
Our statistics and plenty of anecdotal conversations have made it clear: eBooks are just not as good as real books.
Ask our customers and they will be happy to number the delights of the printed page: the marvelous scent, the rustle of the pages, the grain of the paper under your fingertips. . . and we admit that there is a certain romantic magic to books.
But in this as in other things, we go against the current and dare to say it: eBooks are better.
Here are seven reasons why:
- Available anywhere, any time. We get book cravings that must be satisfied immediately, and we bet you do too.
- Your whole library will fit in a carry on.
- Lightweight – imagine War and Peace without the arm ache (the arm ache is a real thing. If you don’t know about it, that means you have been lying about reading War and Peace).
- 50 Shades without the shade. People judge.
- You pick the font size and the font – they even have dyslexic-friendly options.
- No flashlight required – a major bonus if you read past your bedtime, which we do every night.
- No fines – eBooks return themselves on time every time.
