Why eBooks Are Better than Paper Books

Our statistics and plenty of anecdotal conversations have made it clear: eBooks are just not as good as real books.

Ask our customers and they will be happy to number the delights of the printed page: the marvelous scent, the rustle of the pages, the grain of the paper under your fingertips. . .  and we admit that there is a certain romantic magic to books.

But in this as in other things, we go against the current and dare to say it: eBooks are better.

Here are seven reasons why:

  1. Available anywhere, any time. We get book cravings that must be satisfied immediately, and we bet you do too.
  2. Your whole library will fit in a carry on.
  3. Lightweight – imagine War and Peace without the arm ache (the arm ache is a real thing. If you don’t know about it, that means you have been lying about reading War and Peace).
  4. 50 Shades without the shade. People judge.
  5. You pick the font size and the font – they even have dyslexic-friendly options.
  6. No flashlight required – a major bonus if you read past your bedtime, which we do every night.
  7. No fines – eBooks return themselves on time every time.
