Uncover Your Family Story

You might be looking for some interesting projects you can do from home right now, and at RPL we want to make that easier for you. Have you ever thought about getting started researching your family tree? Have you already started but are looking for resources to help take your research to the next level?

Ancestry Library Edition is one of the leading resources for genealogy enthusiasts that for a limited time you can access from home using your library card number and PIN. We expect home access to Ancestry Library Edition to continue to the end of July. Normally, access is in-library use only.

This is an exciting opportunity to dig in to those census, immigration and church records, and uncover the missing pieces of your family’s story. Who will you find?

Don’t forget to check out RPL’s other genealogy resource: Heritage Quest.

Helpful tip: While not required, creating a free personal account by visiting the commercial website www.Ancestry.ca allows you to build your family tree, and connect with the Ancestry community. Click “Sign-In” in the top right corner to create your free account.
