National Indigenous Peoples Day

NIPD is an opportunity for our entire community to learn more about the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada.

Additional Information

The NIPD event will be held at Victoria Park in the heart of downtown Regina. Victoria Park occupies the two-city-block between 12th Avenue, Victoria Avenue, Scarth Street, and Lorne Street. Main stage performances, Indigenous artisan market, Kids' Zone and free bannock will be offered. 

The Kids' Zone will include 17 activity stations for children to experience and learn about Indigenous culture, traditions, music, and dance.

Regina Transit will offer free transit service for K-12 students, teachers and chaperones to the event.

The event is presented in partnership with the City of Regina, Equity Diversity and Inclusion Network, and Regina Public Library.
