Dunlop Art Gallery exhibition curated by Queer City Cinema Artistic Director
Dunlop Art Gallery is proud to announce the new exhibition Projections, which addresses perceptions of queerness, sexuality, race, and gender while considering the future of Indigenous, Black and Queer cultural expression.
Projections brings together the work of Léuli Eshrāghi and Jessica Karuhanga in an immersive walk-through video installation. Léuli Eshrāghi is a Sāmoan/Persian/Cantonese interdisciplinary artist, writer, curator and researcher. Jessica Karuhanga is a first-generation Canadian artist of British-Ugandan heritage, whose work explores cultural politics of identity and Black diasporic concerns through lens-based technologies, writing, drawing and performances.

National Sixties Scoop exhibit in Regina Public Library
A travelling exhibit that tells the history of the Sixties Scoop, and its survivors will be on display at Regina Public Library’s Central Library (2311 12th Avenue) on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021, from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Dunlop Art Gallery celebrates experimental music with artist Josh Thorpe and local partners
This fall, Regina Public Library’s Dunlop Art Gallery has teamed up with Canadian partners to present a series of performances and experimental music events with the launch of Josh Thorpe’s album Love & Weather and his Unusual Music Exchange project.
Dunlop Art Gallery and YYZ Artist Outlet in Toronto came together to produce Josh Thorpe’s vinyl album through a shared desire to support and showcase experimental sound works. Local establishments CJTR Regina Community Radio and T+A Vintage will partner throughout September to host live events in person, on air, and online that reach across Canada and Europe.

John Peet: My Grandfather's Pictures, a new exhibition at Dunlop Art Gallery, features work by Regina-based artist and ceramicist John Peet. The exhibition includes images of his grandfather’s time at Mount Cashel Orphanage in the early 1900s.

Dunlop Art Gallery celebrates Indigenous History Month with New Acquisitions
For Indigenous History Month, Regina Public Library and Dunlop Art Gallery are proud to announce the acquisition of works by Indigenous artist Jaime Black for RPL’s Permanent Collection. These works are part of Jaime Black’s installation project REDress, which responds to the more than 1000 missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada.

Regina Public Library to stop charging overdue fines
Beginning January 1, 2021, Regina Public Library will no longer charge fees for overdue books and other library materials.
“Our customers will no longer have to worry about overdue fines,” said Sean Quinlan, Chair of the RPL Board of Directors. “You won’t be penalized if you miss a due date for books, magazines, movies and other items.”
