Tanya Rogoschewsky
Tanya Rogoschewsky is the Director of Community Engagement and Programming. She is responsible for the strategic oversight of library programming and community partnerships, with a focus on aligning services with RPL’s mission and the diverse needs of the Regina community. She is passionate about the power of programming to inspire, inform, and connect people across all walks of life.
Tanya holds a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Regina. She began her career in academic libraries before moving into public library work. She joined Regina Public Library in 2009 and has held progressive leadership roles within the organization. She moved into her current role in 2025.
Tanya is a strong advocate for intellectual freedom and the social value of reading — especially its ability to develop and nurture curiosity, empathy, and imagination.
In her spare time, Tanya loves to read and travel. She is an avid hiker and camper, paints and draws, has too many plants and enjoys period piece dramas and anything else that involves costumes.
