Robert Borges

Robert Borges is the Director of Information Technology (IT) and is responsible for the planning, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of RPL’s technology infrastructure, and supporting technology use for all library operations and services.

Throughout his 25 years as an IT professional, Robert has led technology teams in a variety of industries, for both in-house departments and IT consulting firms. His experience encompasses several IT disciplines including network and systems administration, business analysis, solutions architecture, disaster recovery planning, and more.

In his spare time Robert is interested in the musical performing arts, classic and specialty automobiles, saltwater reef keeping, and spending time with his family.
