Marj Gavigan

Marj Gavigan was appointed to the Regina Public Library Board, effective March 1, 2017.

Marj is an Associate with Praxis Consulting and specializes in community engagement and strategic communications. Much of Marj's 30 years of professional experience has been dedicated to marketing, communications, and public relations for a variety of organizations in the public, private and co-operative sectors.

For 18 years, Marj served on the Sherwood Co-op Association Board, and for six years on the University of Regina Alumni Association Board. She continues to be an active member of our community, and has volunteered at such events as the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Grey Cup, and the 25th Anniversary of the Centre of the Arts (now the Conexus Arts Centre).

Additionally, as a member of the fraternal order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs, Marj has represented Saskatchewan at the international level, and she currently sits on the Legislation Committee for the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies.
