Cheryl Zankl

Cheryl Zankl retired in 2018 after a 38-year career with CIBC where her last role was as District Vice-President for South Saskatchewan. One of her goals in retirement was to ‘give back’ through volunteering.

Over the years she obtained a Bachelor of Vocational/Technical (Adult) Education from the University of Regina, Master of Human Resource Development from the University of Regina, a Certified Financial Planner from the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning, and was a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.

She has served in many volunteer roles over the years. She is currently the Past Chair of the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation and Past Chair of the CIBC Retiree Advisory Council. Other involvements have included Grey Cup 2013, CIBC Run for the Cure, YWCA Women of Distinction & Regina Chamber of Commerce.
