Book Club in a Bag

RPL's Book Club in a Bag service, available to Regina residents only, provides everything you need for a fun and stress-free Book Club meeting, packaged together in one easy-to-use kit.

Each kit contains:

  • Multiple copies of one book title,
  • Book reviews and author biographies,
  • Discussion questions,
  • Information to help you start and run a book club,
  • A sign-out sheet to keep track of the books, and
  • A feedback form, so you can share your suggestions with us.

We have a wide variety of titles to satisfy your reading interests, including:

How to Use Book Club in a Bag Kits

Online Book Clubs

Check out our new online Book Clubs – a great way to enjoy the book club experience and connect with others while maintaining social distancing.  The programs are conducted through Zoom and you can look for ebook and eaudiobook versions of the titles through Overdrive/Libby or Hoopla. Take a look at Hoopla's Book Club Hub for recommended titles and online resources.

Does your Book Club need an online meeting space? Contact our hotline at 306.777.6000 to book a Zoom room for your next meeting.

Bookings are available for up to three months in advance, during the following times:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00am to 9:00pm
  • Saturdays: 10:00am to 6:00pm
  • Sundays: 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Please book your room two weeks ahead of your meeting date. You must have an RPL library card to book a Zoom room.

Literacy Book Club in a Bag

Literacy Book club in a Bag was created for Book Clubs for adults who wish to improve their reading and discussion skills in a social setting.

The Literacy Book Club in a Bag offers the same materials as our standard Book Club in a Bag kits, with titles that are suited to EAL students, adults who struggle with literacy, and adults who enjoy shorter stories.
