Birding in and around Regina is a great pastime. There are an amazing number of different birds that call our city home. However, it can sometimes be frustrating to identify birds that can only be heard but not seen! This program will cover why birds sing and when. Then show you tricks for identifying common birds in Regina by sound alone.

Presenter Information: Dr. Ryan Fisher is the Curator of Vertebrate Zoology at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and an avid bird lover! He’s had over 20 years of experience researching birds in Western Canada. And when not doing research, you’ll probably find him out with his trusty pair of binoculars scouring the landscape for birds!
