How to Design a One-shot Adventure for Dungeons and Dragons

Appropriate for 12 and older. 

One-shot adventures can stand on their own or be linked into a larger campaign.  They can be anything from finding someone's lost cow, making sure the ball happens without a problem, or getting rid of the marauding monster.  Neil Aitken is a former Writer-in-Residence and long-time Dungeons and Dragons player and game master. 

Please register for the How to Run a One-shot Dungeons and Dragons Adventure on either Oct. 22, 29, Nov. 5,12,19, and get a chance to run the adventure you design here, with help from Neil Aitken. 

Presenter Bio: Neil Aitken is a Chinese-Scottish Canadian writer, editor, and translator with a multi-genre MFA in Creative Writing and a PhD in Literature & Creative Writing. He is the author of two poetry collections, Babbage’s Dream, a semi-finalist for the Anthony Hecht Prize, and The Lost Country of Sight, winner of the Philip Levine Prize for Poetry, as well as a poetry chapbook, Leviathan, which won the 2017 Elgin Prize for Science Fiction Poetry. His work appears in anthologies, magazines, and broadsides, and has been featured in animated film, arranged for contemporary art song, and translated into Dutch, Russian, and Chinese.
