2025 most-borrowed book encourages readers to "let them!"

The Let Them Theory, Mel Robbins’ self-help book that encourages readers to stop trying to control others, was this year’s most sought-after title at Regina Public Library.

Robbins’ book has been grabbing attention for promoting radical acceptance as the key to happiness and success.

Other popular non-fiction titles included Revenge of the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, From Here to the Great Unknown by Lisa Marie Presley and Riley Keough, The House of My Mother by Shari Franke, and Cher: The Memoir, Part One.

Top fiction titles included Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros, Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry, The Grey Wolf by Louise Penny, The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden, and In Too Deep by Lee Child and Andrew Child.

Most popular Indigenous titles included The Mighty Red by Louise Erdrich, Reconciling History by Jody Wilson-Raybould and Roshan Danesh, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones, Children Like Us by Brittany Penner, and Bones of a Giant by Brian Thomas Isaac.

Top Canadian titles included Grey Wolf by Louise Penny, One Golden Summer by Carley Fortune, Revenge of the Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, The Maid’s Secret by Nita Prose, and The Paris Express by Emma Donoghue.

Teen favourites included Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, Fearless by Lauren Roberts, The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han, Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter, and The Rebel Witch by Kristen Ciccarelli.

Most popular children’s titles were the Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey, Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney, The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novel series by The Baby-Sitters Little Sister graphic novel series by Katy Farina, and The Cartoonists Club by Raina Telgemeier and Scott McCloud.
