As the Sidewalk Bleeds
Additional Information
As the Sidewalk Bleeds is a group exhibition featuring seven emerging and established Canadian artists who re-purpose digital technologies in their art practices. Works by Mike MacDonald, Sandee Moore, bpNichol, Mike Patten, Eryne Donahue. Kristina Lee Podesva and Clint Enns reveal diverse personal meditations on navigating our media-saturated time. As the Sidewalk Bleeds also presents various acts resistance, revolution, and foresight that go against or re-appropriate advances in technology for the purposes of art.
Curator, J.J. Kegan McFadden's exhibition Cabin Fever will be featured simultaneously at Neutral Ground. The two institutions are pleased to partner on these special presentations that demonstrate the innovative work coming out of Winnipeg's PLATFORM centre for photographic + digital arts. McFadden will be presenting back-to-back curator talks on the evening of the double-reception.
