Give'r: [Verb] Canadian, particular to rural areas, especially in the Western Provinces, meaning: 1.) to work very hard. 2.) to get wasted and rock as hard as possible. 3.) to finish a job or task in an efficient and quick manner.

Terrance Houle is an internationally recognized interdisciplinary media artist who works in performance, photography, video and film, music and painting, frequently using tools of mass dissemination such as billboards and vinyl bus signage. He has presented work across Canada as well as in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Involved with Aboriginal communities all his life, Houle has travelled to reservations across North America participating in Powwow dancing and other ceremonies. Houle lives and works in Calgary, where he teaches video production and art as a youth mentor through Metis Calgary Family Services, and maintains a full time art practice.
