CORPUS: Camping Royale
Additional Information
CORPUS is back with a twisted fairytale for young and old children. Two queens from a different time go on a camping trip, far away from court. Without servants, they will have to use their creativity to survive in the wild. Their castle is reduced to basic tents, royal dances have to be executed on grass, one needs to fish for lunch and cope with the unpredictable whims of Mother Nature… CORPUS brings its world-renowned blend of comedy and choreography to this brand new show that engages children and adults alike in surprising and innovative ways.
CORPUS, established in 1997, is an international dance and theatre troupe based in Toronto and founded by Artistic Director David Danzon and Sylvie Bouchard. Their repertoire is known for precise choreography and surrealist humour. CORPUS tours extensively, having presented well over a thousand performances at dance and theatre festivals, children’s festivals, theatres, art galleries, parks, shopping malls, and streets to enraptured audiences all around the world. They can also be seen in television and film, and co-created the hit children’s series 4 Square for Treehouse TV.
