Library Resources for Kids While Social Distancing
Regina Public Library has many resources for kids that you can access without having to leave your home. Below is a list of digital services for you and your family.
eBooks and eAudiobooks
Overdrive (Libby) is a terrific resource for finding books for the entire family. You will find bestsellers like Dog Man, and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and much more. Overdrive also has titles in many languages such as French, Chinese and Arabic.
TumbleBook Library is a great spot to find books for preschool to middle graders. It is a streaming resource with animated, read-along picture books, and read-along chapter books.
BookFlix takes nonfiction books and pairs them with fun, animated picture books.
TeenBookCloud has eBooks, eAudiobooks, and enhanced eBooks, which are read-along eBooks. It also has an AP English section.
Hoopla has eBooks and eAudiobooks, but its real standout is that it offers comics and graphic novels from major publishers like DC, Marvel, Image and Dark Horse.
Kanopy is a great resource for independent film, documentaries, and children’s content, such as PBS Kids and animated picture books.
Hoopla also has children’s movies and television shows available.
With NFB Campus you can stream content from the National Film Board of Canada.
Hoopla has an extensive music collection, including popular mainstream artists and children’s music brands.
Naxos would be the product you would use if you were more interested in classical music.
Brainfuse is our online homework help resource. It has online tutoring, study guides, and lessons available, and it is tied to Saskatchewan curriculum.
