In honour of Orange Shirt Day, author Michelle Good will discuss her debut novel, Five Little Indians. The book chronicles the legacy of residential schools and how the survivors find a way forward.

With compassion and insight, Five Little Indians chronicles the desperate quest of these residential school survivors to come to terms with their past and, ultimately, find a way forward. 

Michelle Good is a Cree writer and lawyer and is a member of the Red Pheasant Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. Both her mother and grandmother survived residential school. CBC Books named her as a writer to watch in 2020. Five Little Indians is on the Scotiabank Giller Prize longlist in 2020.

Bev Cardinal joins us as the moderator for this event.
